Visual stress, Irlens or Meares-Irlen syndrome is a visual perception processing condition which appears to cause reading and other visual learning difficulties. Visual stress appears to be particularly prevalent in people with dyslexia. The scientists are still arguing about it but the majority of practitioners are of the opinion that it does affect many with reading/dyslexic type difficulties. We stock a selection of assessment tools, coloured reading overlays, coloured pads and coloured “whiteboards”.
